Alison Bush, DVM, CVA, CCRT
Veterinary Acupuncturist, Canine Rehab Therapist, Owner
Dr. Ali Bush is a veterinary acupuncturist and canine rehab therapist in Colorado and is excited to provide traditional Chinese veterinary medicine and rehabilitation therapies for your beloved pets. Dr. Ali obtained her Bachelors of Science degrees in Pathobiology and Animal Science from the University of Connecticut in 2014. She attended Colorado State University and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree in 2018.
While in veterinary school, Dr. Ali developed a passion for orthopedic medicine and rehabilitation after her dog, Trixie, tore her cruciate ligament. During this time, she learned the value of rehabilitation in post-operative care and pain management. Since then, she has strove to learn about alternative methods to ease the pain and promote healing for a variety of conditions in animals.
After two years in general practice, Dr. Ali enrolled in the Mixed Animal Veterinary Acupuncture course at the Chi University in Florida. Through this course, she learned veterinary acupuncture can be used to treat a plethora of diseases and conditions. She graduated in 2021 as a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist. Dr. Ali is excited to provide Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine services to companion and large animals.
This year, Dr. Ali finished her canine rehabilitation course with the Canine Rehabilitation Institute in Colorado and became a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist (CCRT). She is proud to offer canine rehabilitation and conditioning services in the comfort of your home. Canine rehabilitation is a vital component of your pet’s recovery from an injury, as well as helps to maintain function and improve the quality of life of your pets with chronic conditions.
Dr. Ali currently works as a mixed-animal practitioner on the Eastern Plains of Colorado. She started Rocky Mountain Integrative Veterinary Services (RMIVS) to provide veterinary acupuncture services in the comfort of your home. RMIVS is based in Aurora, CO, but is happy to accommodate your beloved pets along the Front Range and Eastern Plains. Dr. Ali is also enrolled in the Essentials Animal Chiropractic Course at Options For Animals in Fall 2023. Stay tuned for the addition of canine and equine chiropractic services!
When Dr. Ali is not treating your pets, she spends her time with her Fiancé, three dogs, and cat. She enjoys fishing, snowboarding, and traveling. She can often be found at a local craft brewery with her dogs enjoying the sun with a beer.
